This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Petrinaitz/Artzanegi. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 10.004 kilometers and an elevation gain of 434 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across Erroitiko Iturria, a drinking water source just 0.92 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. It's a good idea to refill your water bottle here before continuing on. As you make your way onwards, at 3.38 kilometers from the start, you will find Elorrolako Haitza, a peak that offers stunning views of the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at 3.68 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Zabalaitz, another peak worth stopping to admire. Just a bit ahead at 3.94 kilometers, Kalparmuño Txikia, a peak known for its beauty, will be visible in the distance.

Midway through your hike, at 4.65 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point providing insights about the area and its history. Make sure to take a moment to learn something new before continuing on your adventure.

As you near the end of the trail, at 5.0 kilometers from the start, you will reach the highlight of the hike - Petrinaitz/Artzanegi peak. The panoramic views from this point make the effort all worth it. Remember to take a break, hydrate, and enjoy the surroundings before beginning your journey back.
