This challenging 6.777-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape surrounding Rocca la Croce. Beginning at the parking area, you'll soon come across the intriguing Caverna / riparo cave entrance approximately 1.9 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at about 1.77 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Roccia Appia viewpoint offering breathtaking sights of the surroundings.
As you continue your journey, you'll encounter the archaeological site of Roccia Smoine with its ancient rock engravings around 1.95 kilometers into the hike. The trail then leads you to Rocca la Croce, a peak about 3.25 kilometers from the starting point, offering panoramic views as a rewarding endpoint for your hike.
Along the way, be sure to stay hydrated by visiting the Fontana di meira Paseri drinking water station at approximately 0.23 kilometers in. Additionally, take in the natural beauty of the area at the various viewpoints such as Betulla solitaria and Roccia dell'Eco.
While some points of interest like the wayside shrine and springs may require a slight detour from the main trail, they provide additional insights into the historical and natural elements of the area.
