This challenging hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Rocca la Croce. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 6.777 kilometers and an elevation gain of 594 meters, making it a difficult trek that is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will pass by a convenient parking area before continuing on to explore the fascinating Caverna / riparo cave entrance, located 1.9 kilometers from the trailhead. Along the way, you will encounter the Roccia Appia viewpoint at 1.77 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at 1.95 kilometers, you will come across the Roccia Smoine with ancient rock engravings, adding a touch of history to your hike. The Fontana di meira Paseri drinking water point at 0.23 kilometers from the start will provide a refreshing break before you reach the Rocca la Croce peak at 3.25 kilometers, offering a rewarding summit experience.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Betulla solitaria viewpoint at 2.23 kilometers, the Croce dell'Amicizia wayside cross at 2.79 kilometers, and the ruins of Meira Piruna at 0.91 kilometers from the start.
