As you continue, you'll pass by the Heimkehrerkreuz wayside cross at around 3.88 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of historical significance to your hike.

Midway through the trail, at approximately 4.01 kilometers from the start, you'll reach another peak with picturesque views for you to enjoy. Be sure to take a break at Schönfeldalm, a spot 3.33 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and learn more about the surroundings from the information available.

Finally, the highlight of the hike is reaching Schönfeldjoch, a peak located 4.54 kilometers from the start. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views before heading back the way you came.
