Welcome to the Almdudler Höllenritt hiking route!
Located in a stunning area with breathtaking views, this trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 9.868 kilometers with an elevation gain of 412 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance and fitness levels.
As you embark on this journey, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Eisberghütte, a cozy restaurant where you can fuel up before starting your adventure. Further along, at about 1.89 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Kressbrunnalm and at 1.19 kilometers, Hildes Schitenne, both offering opportunities to rest and grab a bite to eat.
As you continue your hike, you will pass by the Jausenstation Tappenalm, which is located approximately 1.19 kilometers from the start point. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.
Halfway through the trail, at around 4.93 kilometers, you will reach a free flying site for paragliding enthusiasts looking to soar through the skies. Additionally, along the way, you will come across benches and information points where you can take a breather and learn more about the surrounding area.
Towards the end of the hike, at 4.93 kilometers, you will find the Restaurant Horberg and the Gasthaus Lärchwaldhütte, perfect for a well-deserved meal after completing the challenging hike.
