This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Rotenkogel peak in a picturesque area. The trail covers a distance of 13.566 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of 1322 meters, making it a challenging yet rewarding journey.
As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Temblerhof restaurant, offering a perfect spot to fuel up before the long ascent. Further along the trail, you'll reach the Kals-Matreier-Törl-Haus, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments while taking in the breathtaking views.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Kals-Matreier-Törl saddle, a natural wonder that provides a great photo opportunity. Continuing on, you'll reach the Rotenkogel peak, the highlight of the trail, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
