This hiking route will take you to the majestic peak of Zimba, located in a beautiful mountainous area. The trail is 14.736 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1518 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Along the way, at around 4.9 kilometers from the start, you will find the Sarotlahütte alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.93 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a historic wayside cross, adding a cultural touch to your hike. As you continue your ascent, you will reach Neyerscharte, a saddle point at 7.04 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

On your way back, make sure to stop by the drinking water station located at 4.92 kilometers from the start to stay hydrated. Additionally, there are information points, benches, and more facilities available along the trail to enhance your hiking experience.
