This challenging 8.74-kilometer hiking route will take you around the stunning Egesengrat area. The trail starts at Parkplatz Dresdner Hütte/Wilde Gruabe and heads towards the Egesengrat peak. Along the way, you'll pass by several points of interest such as the Dresdner Hütte alpine hut, Fernaustadl bar, and Zollhütte wilderness hut.

At the beginning of the hike, you'll find Parkplatz Dresdner Hütte/Wilde Gruabe where you can park your vehicle before embarking on the trail. As you make your way towards the peak, you'll also come across the Fernau Klettersteig via ferrata for a thrilling climbing experience.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Egesengrat peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Don't forget to take a break at Eiswürfel Bar for some refreshments before continuing your journey.

Throughout the hike, you'll encounter various information points, benches, and facilities to rest and take in the beautiful scenery. Make sure to carry enough water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this difficult but rewarding adventure.
