Welcome to the hiking route to Poppelsee! This super easy trail spans approximately 1.946 kilometers with an elevation gain of 74 meters and a duration of around 38 minutes.
The trail starts at a parking area located right at the beginning of the route. As you make your way, you will come across the Poppeltal Mühlhalde and Klötzhalde information points, providing interesting insights into the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at approximately 0.45 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the view.
At about 0.86 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter for those who may want to rest or seek shelter. If you continue on, you will reach the stunning Poppelsee, located at around 0.97 kilometers from the start. This serene water body offers a picturesque setting for a peaceful break or a picnic.
On the way back, you can stop by the biergartens located at 0.1 and 0.25 kilometers from the start, offering limited wheelchair access for those in need.
