Welcome to the hiking route along the Xiao Guanyin Mountain Military Road in Taipei City. This route offers a glimpse into the natural beauty and historic sites of the area.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Da Tun Mountain Parking Lot, located at the beginning of the trail. Further along, at about 0.21 kilometers from the start, you will find the remnants of the Da Tun National Park Mountain House, a historic attraction that adds a touch of intrigue to the hike.

Along the trail, you will encounter a bench for resting at about 0.0 kilometers from the start and an information point marking the No. 6 Da Tun Creek Ancient Trail at 0.8 kilometers from the start.

Continuing on, at approximately 1.26 kilometers from the start, you will reach a natural peak perfect for a picturesque viewpoint. Additionally, at approximately 0.89 kilometers from the start, you will spot another information point marking the No. 7 Da Tun Creek Ancient Trail.

As you near the end of the hike, be sure to visit the saddle at a mere 0.02 kilometers from the start, offering a serene spot to take in the surroundings before you head back.

With a total distance of 2.511 kilometers and an elevation gain of 165 meters, this hike is rated as easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. Remember to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
