This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Breitunger Rennsteig. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.458 kilometers and an elevation gain of 151 meters, making it an easy route suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. Just 0.14 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Waldschlösschen restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing your journey. Further along the trail at 0.09 kilometers, there is a natural water source for you to refill your water bottle.

At around 2.23 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach a viewpoint with stunning views of the surrounding landscape at Questenstein. Nearby, you'll also find two rock formations that add to the scenic beauty of the area.

As you approach the midway point of the trail, you'll come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle if needed. Continuing on, at 1.01 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Towards the end of the hike, at 2.21 kilometers, there is another information point and a boundary stone marking a significant historical point in the area. Finally, at the endpoint of the trail, 2.23 kilometers in, you'll reach a viewpoint with panoramic views of the landscape.
