Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Elefante! This scenic trail offers a 4.84-kilometer round trip with an elevation gain of 150 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The hike will take approximately 1 hour and 29 minutes to complete.

Starting at the designated parking area, you will begin your journey towards Monte Elefante. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across points of interest such as Rifugio Angelo Sebastiani, a charming alpine hut located 0.83 kilometers from the start. While it's not directly on the trail, it serves as a great rest stop for hikers.

Continuing on, you will encounter Sella di Leonessa, a beautiful natural saddle just 0.01 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, you will reach Selletta di Pratorecchia, another stunning saddle located 1.06 kilometers from the beginning. As you hike closer to Monte Elefante, you will pass by the informative viewpoint at 1.06 kilometers and the peak of Monte Elefante itself at 2.42 kilometers.

For those seeking more adventure, there are additional peaks to explore such as Cima di Pratorecchia at 1.38 kilometers and Cima di Prato Cristoforo at 0.2 kilometers from the start. These peaks offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and are worth the extra trek.
