Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Cogliàns / Hohe Warte! This extremely difficult out-and-back trail covers a distance of 9.977 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1319 meters, making it a challenging yet rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.
Starting from the trailhead, you will be surrounded by stunning alpine landscapes. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that add to the allure of this hike.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue onwards, you will come across informational points providing insight into the history and natural wonders of the area.
Midway through the hike, you will pass by the Rifugio Edoardo Tolazzi, an alpine hut where you can take a break, refuel, and enjoy the panoramic views. Nearby, you will find the San Bernardo wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to the journey.
As you push forward, you will reach the peaks of Antecima Est, Costone Stella, and Torre del Coston Stella, offering breathtaking summit vistas. Make sure to stay hydrated and replenish your water supply at the designated drinking water spot along the trail.
Finally, the highlight of the hike awaits at Monte Cogliàns / Hohe Warte, a majestic peak where you can revel in the sense of accomplishment and take in the sweeping views of the surrounding mountains.
