Welcome to the hiking route in Martell - Martello!

This 8.5-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With an elevation gain of 640 meters, you can expect a moderate to difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Alpengasthof Enzian - Albergo Alpino Enzian, a cozy restaurant just 70 meters from the start of the trail. Here, you can grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy a refreshing beverage before heading out.

Along the way, you'll find several points of interest such as a picnic site, information points about the Martell Valley and the Stelvio National Park, as well as drinking water stations to keep you hydrated. Be sure to take a moment to stop and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.

As you reach the midway point of the trail, you'll come across a parking area where you can take a break if needed. Remember to pack plenty of water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the route.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll find another drinking water station and a bench where you can rest and take in the stunning views of the Martell Valley. If you're feeling adventurous, you can continue on to explore the Gletscherlehrpfad - Sentiero glaciologico, located just a short distance away.
