This hiking route will take you through a scenic area near Dique de Santa Ana. The route is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of approximately 1.552 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.
As you start your hike, you'll come across Centro de Interpretación Yacimiento Arqueológico Flaviobriga, an archaeological site just 0.33 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, at 0.2 kilometers, you'll reach Arenal, a beautiful beach perfect for a quick stop and some relaxation.
Midway through the hike at 0.46 kilometers, you'll find parking facilities and Castillo de Santa Ana, a historic castle. Further along the trail at 0.75 kilometers, you'll reach Centro de Interpretación Santa Ana, another interesting attraction to explore.
Before heading back, don't forget to check out Oficina de Turismo de Castro Urdiales, an information center located at 0.29 kilometers from the start. And for sustenance, there are various dining options such as Asador El Puerto, Churreria Castrena, and many more along the trail.
