This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area of Wormser Hütte - Kapellerweg. With a total distance of approximately 15 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1416 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so make sure to be well-prepared physically and mentally before embarking on this adventure.
You will start your journey at the Silbertal Ortsmitte, where you can admire a historic wayside cross before hitting the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter the Kälbersee, a beautiful natural water feature perfect for a rest stop around the 6.69 kilometer mark.
Continuing on, you will pass by Schwarzsee around the 6.25 kilometer point, offering a serene spot to take in the surroundings. Further along the trail, at the 7.5 kilometer mark, you will reach the Wormser Hütte, an alpine hut where you can refuel and take a break before heading back.
For those who are looking for additional challenges, there is a free flying site for takeoff at the 7.5 kilometer mark, as well as a climbing spot known as Klettergarten Wormser Hütte at 7.37 kilometers.
