Welcome to the Monte Scuro hiking route! This moderate 5.11 km circular trail offers a beautiful trek through the stunning landscapes of the area.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Parcheggio Pagliara parking area for your convenience. As you progress, you will encounter several viewpoints along the way. The first viewpoint is 1.09 km from the start, followed by another at 1.66 km, and one more at 0.7 km. These viewpoints offer breathtaking vistas of the surrounding natural beauty, so be sure to take a moment to soak it all in.

Around midway through the hike, you will come across Rifugio Monte Scuro, an alpine hut perfect for a quick rest break or snack. Further along, you will reach Valico di Monte Scuro, a saddle point 1.61 km from the start, providing a unique perspective of the area.

As you near the end of the trail, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Monte Scuro peak, located 2.35 km from the start. This is the perfect spot to admire panoramic views and snap some memorable photos.

With an elevation gain of 121.0 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge suitable for hikers of varying experience levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
