This extremely difficult 11.946-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the majestic Hohe Geige peak. The trail starts at Plangeroß where you can park your vehicle. As you begin your journey, you'll come across a bench just 0.01 kilometers from the start where you can take a quick break. Approximately 2.94 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the cozy Rüsselsheimer Hütte alpine hut, offering a perfect spot to rest and refuel.

As you continue, at around 3.41 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter an informational point, providing insights about the area. The trail then leads you to another informational point at 3.66 kilometers, enriching your hiking experience with more knowledge about the surroundings.
