This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area around A498 in a 2.145-kilometer out-and-back journey. The trail is relatively easy with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find Nant Gwynant Car Park, where you can park your vehicle before starting the hike. About 0.13 kilometers into the trail, you will come across Caffi Gwynant, a cozy cafe where you can grab a snack or a hot beverage before continuing your adventure.

As you make your way along the path, you will encounter a couple of water sources - one at 1.07 kilometers into the trail and another at 0.13 kilometers. These spots are perfect for refilling your water bottle and refreshing yourself during the hike.

Near the midpoint of the trail, approximately 0.39 kilometers in, you will find another water source for your convenience. Towards the end of the hike, around 1.04 kilometers in, there is another parking area if you need it.
