This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Camino de Angustina a Bustablado in Riotuerto. The trail is 3.382 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 134 meters, making it an easy and enjoyable hike for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the ruins of the Antiguas escuelas de Angustina, located just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. These historic ruins offer a glimpse into the past of the area. Further along the trail at 0.26 kilometers, you will find the Fuente de Angustina, a natural spring where you can fill up your water bottle and take a refreshing break.
At 0.38 kilometers, off the main trail, you will see the Cueva junto al Coto Redondo, a cave entrance worth exploring if you have the time and inclination. Another cave entrance, Cueva de las Peñas de Angustina II, is located at 0.84 kilometers from the start of the trail.
As you continue on the path, you will encounter a wayside shrine at 0.0 kilometers and a picnic site, Área recreativa de Angustina, also at 0.0 kilometers. These spots are perfect for taking a rest, having a snack, and soaking in the beautiful surroundings.
