This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Puy Gros. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.718 kilometers and an elevation gain of 473 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. It is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you continue along the trail, you will reach Le Queureuilh, an information point where you can learn more about the surroundings.
About midway through the hike, you will encounter two points of interest located 2.86 kilometers from the start. The first is Puy Gros, a peak with stunning views waiting for you at the top. The second is a viewpoint where you can take a break and admire the scenery around you.
On your way back, you may find a shelter 0.05 kilometers from the start, providing a place to rest and enjoy a snack. Additionally, there is a spring called Fontaine de la Paressudas located 2.56 kilometers from the start, where you can refill your water bottle.
