This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Kaufer Bankerl. The trail is 4.361 kilometers long with a total elevation gain of 372 meters, making it a moderate hike that is suitable for most hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Ardning Alm Hütte, a charming restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before hitting the trail. Just a short distance from the start, you will find a convenient parking area.
As you continue along the trail, you will reach the Arlingsattel saddle, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape. Further along, you will encounter the Kleiner Bosruck peak, although it is slightly off the trail. A wayside shrine is located nearby, adding a touch of history to your hike.
For a rest stop, a bench is situated at 1.38 kilometers into the hike, providing a place to relax and take in the scenery. Information points are scattered along the trail, offering insights into the area's history and wildlife. The NO-Grat Wildfrauensteig information point is located at the 2.03-kilometer mark, followed by more points at various intervals.
At the 2.18-kilometer mark, you will find the Kaufer Bankerl viewpoint, offering a panoramic vista of the surroundings. This makes for a perfect spot to rest and take in the beauty of the area before heading back.
