This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an adventurous journey through breathtaking mountain scenery. The trail spans a total distance of 42.168 kilometers with an elevation gain of 3370 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding experience for avid hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will soon come across the charming Hotel Chalet Valdôtain, located just 0.01 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to rest and grab a bite before continuing your trek. As you hike further, you'll encounter various points of interest along the way.
Around the 7.74-kilometer mark, you'll find the picturesque Lago Du Plan D'En Haut, situated just off the trail. This scenic water feature offers a serene setting to take in the beauty of the surroundings. Further ahead at around 9.09 kilometers, you'll pass by Lago del Dragone, a lovely lake that's located right on the trail.
