This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and challenging terrain. The trail is a circular route that covers a distance of 12.096 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1459 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you embark on this journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Gasthaus Gramart, a quaint restaurant where you can fuel up before starting your hike. As you continue, you will pass by Höttinger Alm, a mountain hut situated 2.65 kilometers from the start, offering a picturesque location to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the peaks of Westliche Sattelspitze and Östliche Sattelspitze, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the area. Additionally, there are opportunities for climbing at various points along the trail, including the Wendeltreppe and dryland.
For a cultural touch, you can also explore historic sites such as Frau Hitt and ruins located nearby. Make sure to stay hydrated by utilizing the drinking water stations conveniently placed along the trail, like the Weinstockquelle III and Tumelequelle springs.
