This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Grüenhorn. With a distance of 12.738 kilometers and an elevation gain of 851 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will find parking facilities for your convenience. As you continue on, you will come across informational points and benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Gotschnagrat, a noteworthy spot with beautiful views. Further along the trail, you will encounter a water point and a restaurant called Gotschnagrat, perfect for refueling before continuing your journey.
As you make your way back to the starting point, take time to appreciate the peak of Grüenhorn and Schwarzseealp, where you can find another restaurant called Kessler’s Kulm Restaurant to relax and unwind after your trek.
