This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Sentier de la Crête in Annecy. The trail is a circular route that covers a distance of 1.468 kilometers with an elevation gain of 51 meters, making it super easy and suitable for beginners.
As you start your hike, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking facilities for your convenience. Further along, there is a viewpoint called Belvédère de la Jeanne, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. You'll also pass by a saddle called Pas de l'Échelle, adding a bit of adventure to your hike.
Midway through the trail, you'll encounter the Parc Animalier de la Grande Jeanne, a zoo where you can take a break and observe the local wildlife. Additionally, there are picnic sites and benches scattered along the trail for you to rest and enjoy a meal or snack.
As you continue on, you'll come across various climbing sectors such as La Grande Jeanne / secteur Renard, La Grande Jeanne / secteur Marmottes, and La Grande Jeanne / secteur Lascaux, making it a great spot for climbing enthusiasts.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll reach Le Promontoire, another viewpoint where you can take in the breathtaking vistas before completing the circular route.
