Welcome to the hiking route to the Refuge du Parmelan in the beautiful area of Camille Dunant. This moderate difficulty out-and-back trail covers a distance of 5.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 322 meters, taking approximately 2 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you'll find a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you'll come across the Chalet de l'Anglettaz, a charming restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine just 0.02 kilometers from the start.

Further into the hike, at a distance of 0.93 kilometers, you'll encounter Le Petit Montoir, a picturesque saddle offering stunning views of the surroundings. As you continue, you'll pass by the Glacière d'Avernioz, a cave entrance located 1.32 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the trail, at 2.7 kilometers, you'll reach the Refuge du Parmelan, a cozy alpine hut where you can rest and take in the breathtaking scenery. You can also explore the nearby Tête du Parmelan peak, situated 2.5 kilometers from the trail.
