This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Groppo d'Agna, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. With a total distance of 18.696 kilometers and an elevation gain of 643 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the historic Castello di Corniglio, located 0.21 kilometers from the start of the trail. Continuing on, at the same distance, you will find a cafe called "da Ivan" where you can grab a refreshing drink or snack. There is also an information point nearby to gather more insights about the area.
Along the way, you will pass by a drinking water station at 0.47 kilometers from the start, so make sure to refill your water bottles to stay hydrated during the challenging hike.
Midway through the route, at around 8.94 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Nocellara offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Further ahead, at 9.35 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Groppo d'Agna, the final destination of this out-and-back trail.
