This hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Rotondo area, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is 13.422 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1656 meters, making it an extremely difficult trail that will test your hiking abilities.

As you begin your journey, you will come across Chez Caesar, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before starting the hike. Right next to it is a parking area, making it convenient for hikers to park their vehicles.

Further along the trail, at around 0.76 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point about Monte Rotondo, providing insights into the history and significance of this iconic peak.

Midway through the hike, at 4.01 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the refreshing Source de Triggione spring, where you can replenish your water supply and take a short break.

Continuing onwards, at 4.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lac de l'Oriente, a beautiful water body offering a serene spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you near the peak, at 6.69 kilometers from the start, you will find Abri Helbronner, a shelter where you can seek refuge and take shelter if needed.

Finally, at 6.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic Monte Rotondo peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes as a rewarding end to your challenging hike.
