Welcome to the hiking route on Via Rusa! This 10.155-kilometer challenging trail offers beautiful views and exciting points of interest along the way.

Starting off, you will pass by Lago Sommeiller, a serene lake located just 180 meters off the trail. As you continue, you will reach Colle Sommeiller, a stunning viewpoint just 75 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to take in the surrounding beauty and snap some photos.

Further along the trail, at around 3.72 kilometers from the start, you will come across another water feature, Lago Patarè, situated 143 meters away from the trail. Take a moment to relax by the lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak at 5.08 kilometers from the start. The panoramic views from here are truly breathtaking and worth the effort it takes to get there.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Passo settentrionale dei Fourneaux, a saddle located 4.96 kilometers from the start. This marks a great spot to rest and refuel before completing your journey.

This out-and-back route on Via Rusa offers a total elevation gain of 835 meters, making it a difficult hike that is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out. Enjoy your adventure on this picturesque trail!
