This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and serene nature. The trail is an out-and-back type, with the destination being Poggio Picchio. The total distance of the hike is approximately 3.135 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 105 meters, making it an easy difficulty level.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Parcheggio Scambio FS parking area, just 17.33 meters from the trailhead. Further along the trail at about 0.09 kilometers, you will find Largo Giovanni Falcone e Paolo Borsellino parking area.

Around 1.57 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Prati di Mugnano, a lovely picnic site ideal for taking a break and enjoying the surroundings. Locanda 3 Virtù restaurant is located 0.21 kilometers from the start, offering a possible dining option on the way back.

Continuing on, at 0.3 kilometers, you will pass by Tamrindo bar, perfect for a refreshment stop. The highlight of the hike, Poggio Picchio peak, awaits you at the end of the trail, 1.57 kilometers from the start. Here you can enjoy panoramic views and a well-deserved break.

Throughout the trail, you will also find benches for resting and enjoying the scenery, as well as a BBQ area for a potential picnic.
