This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Cordel de Santillana, leading to Cerro Pelado, a stunning peak with breathtaking views of the surroundings. The route is 7.08 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 390 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
You will start your journey from Los Asientos parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before heading out on the trail. Along the way, you will pass by Fuente de los Linos, a refreshing spring perfect for taking a quick break and refilling your water bottle.
As you continue on the trail, you will also come across another spring and a picnic site, ideal for enjoying a snack while soaking in the natural beauty around you. Cerro Pelado, the highest point of the hike, is located approximately 3.13 kilometers from the start and offers panoramic views that make the climb worth it.
It is important to bring an ample supply of water, as well as snacks and proper hiking gear.
