This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you on a 13.844-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 789 meters to reach the stunning Cascada waterfall. The hike is estimated to take around 5 hours and 10 minutes to complete, but the breathtaking views along the way will make it all worth it.

Starting off at the trailhead, you'll pass by a couple of restaurants within the first few kilometers where you can grab a bite to eat before beginning your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across a parking area right at the start, making it easy to leave your vehicle and start your hike.

About 1.25 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the mesmerizing Cascada del Chiflón waterfall, aptly named for its cascading waters. This makes for a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the beauty of the natural surroundings. Further along the trail, approximately 0.85 kilometers from the start, you'll find a restaurant called El Diamante del Chiflón, where you can enjoy a meal with a view.

At the turnaround point, about 6.92 kilometers from the start, there are more waterfalls to admire, along with another viewpoint for a different vantage point of the scenery.
