This extremely difficult 8.37-kilometer out-and-back hiking route in the Hundegg-Kellwald area offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The trail starts at Hotel Almrösl, where you can find sustenance before embarking on your journey. As you hike, you will pass by the Hundegg peak and Anseilplatz bench. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the trail.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Kupfergeiststeig Klettersteig via ferrata, adding an exciting element to your adventure. As you continue, you will come across the beautiful natural water features, providing a serene backdrop to your hike.

At the end of the trail, you can take a break at the Kaminstadl restaurant before heading back. Make sure to check the forecast before venturing out due to the challenging nature of the route. The trail offers stunning views and a true test of your hiking abilities.
