Welcome to the hiking route to Ru Courthoud!

Located in a beautiful natural area, this moderate 5.11-kilometer trail offers hikers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the scenic surroundings while gaining 420 meters in elevation.

As you start your journey, you'll come across convenient parking spots at the beginning of the trail. After a short distance, you'll find a wayside shrine, providing a glimpse into the area's historic significance.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.9 kilometers in, you'll encounter a cave entrance known as Trou de Rompailly, adding a sense of adventure to your hike. Nearby, several benches offer a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the views from a viewpoint.

As you continue, a drinking water facility will be available around the 0.26-kilometer mark, allowing you to replenish and stay hydrated along the way. Additionally, a parking area is situated midway through the trail for your convenience.

Towards the end of the hike, at 2.56 kilometers, another viewpoint awaits, providing a breathtaking perspective of the surroundings before you make your way back.
