As you start your journey, you will pass by the historic wayside shrine of San Giovanni Gualberto, located approximately 1.66 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at about 3.28 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter the peak of Monte Scavo, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the viewpoints along the way, such as Pino Folgorato at 0.78 kilometers from the start and a viewpoint at 2.91 kilometers. Additionally, you can explore the attractions like the Grotta Gussonea cave entrance located at 0.87 kilometers from the start.

For a rest or snack break, there are picnic sites situated at various points on the trail, including one at 1.88 kilometers and another at 0.27 kilometers from the start. Remember to stay hydrated and pack enough water and snacks for the hike.
