This hiking route is located in a beautiful mountainous area, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain for hikers. The total distance of the route is 11.519 kilometers with an elevation gain of 592.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 8 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will first come across a parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will reach a drinking water source at 5.74 kilometers from the starting point, providing a much-needed refreshment stop. Further along the trail at 5.75 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area.
Midway through the hike, at 3.53 kilometers, you will encounter the historic Cappella del Buon Pastore wayside shrine, adding a cultural element to your journey. Continuing on, at 4.32 kilometers, you will reach the bivio C27/C97 information point, followed by the bivio C27/C27A point at 2.61 kilometers, both offering valuable information about the surroundings.
Towards the end of the hike, at 0.5 kilometers, you will find the bivio C27/C32 information point, providing insights before you reach your final destination. Finally, at 5.76 kilometers, you will arrive at Rifugio Andolla, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before heading back.
