This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima della Croce peak. The trail spans a distance of 6.097 kilometers with an elevation gain of 515 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 2 hours and 41 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a parking area before reaching a drinking water spot early on in the hike. As you continue, make sure to stay hydrated and refill your water bottle at another drinking water point located just 0.1 kilometers from the start.

Around the 2.31 kilometer mark, you'll encounter the impressive Monte Castagnolo peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, at 3.05 kilometers, you'll reach the Cima della Croce peak, the highlight of the hike.

Along the way, you'll also come across a shelter at 2.24 kilometers, providing a nice resting spot to catch your breath. Additionally, don't miss the wayside shrine located at the beginning of the trail, adding a touch of historic charm to your journey.
