This challenging 8.613-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning alpine scenery of the Frankfurter Würstel - Monolite della Salsiccia region. The trail starts at a parking area, so make sure to bring your hiking gear, water, and snacks before setting out.

As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Dreizinnenhütte - Rifugio Locatelli alle Tre Cime alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal with breathtaking views. Further along the trail, you'll come across the Rifugio Auronzo alpine hut, offering limited wheelchair access for accommodations if needed.

Continuing on, you'll reach the Monte Paterno - Paternkofel peak, although it's not directly on the trail, it provides a stunning backdrop to your hike. As you make your way to Passportenscharte saddle, take in the natural beauty of the area. Along the trail, you'll also find informative signage to enhance your hiking experience.

Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Forcella Lavaredo saddle, where you can learn more about the area's history at the information point. Further along, you'll reach the Frankfurter Würstel - Monolite della Salsiccia peak viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views.

As you approach the end of the hike, you'll pass by the Forcella della Piccolissima saddle and the Preußturm - Cima Piccolissima peak, providing a picturesque end to your adventure. Before completing the loop, take a moment to reflect at the memorial point near the trail.

Due to the length of the hike and the 191.0 meters of elevation gain, this route is categorized as difficult.
