This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Mont Torrage / Monte Toraggio. With a distance of 12.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1005 meters, this route is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
As you begin your journey, you'll come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. The first point of interest is Rifugio Monte Grai - Silvio Lepanto, a wilderness hut located 1.42 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Continuing on, at the 4.4 kilometer mark, you'll reach Pas de l'Incise / Passo dell'Incisa, a beautiful saddle along the trail. From there, you'll make your way to Mont Torrage / Monte Toraggio, a peak located 5.95 kilometers from the start. The views from the top are definitely worth the effort it takes to reach it.
Along the route, you'll also encounter Cime de la Vallette, another peak offering stunning panoramic views. Make sure to stop and take in the scenery as you continue on your hike.
As you near the end of the route, you'll pass by Sella d'Agnaira, a saddle that marks the 2.02 kilometer point. Finally, Fonte Dragurina is a spring with drinking water located 5.93 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottles before heading back.
