This hiking route, known as Garnisonsteig, offers a pleasant and easy trek through the beautiful landscape. The trail covers a distance of approximately 3.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 241 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at a convenient parking area, hikers will meander through the serene surroundings. About 800 meters in, you will come across the Rodelhütte shelter, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the views. Further along the trail, at around 1.6 kilometers, you'll find Michl Platzl, a charming picnic site where you can relax and refuel.

As you continue on, at approximately 2.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach a scenic viewpoint that offers breathtaking vistas of the area. Along the trail, there are benches strategically placed for hikers to rest and take in the surroundings. For those interested in history, a wayside shrine can be found at a distance of 0.35 kilometers from the start of the trail.

At the turnaround point, 1.6 kilometers from the start, hikers will encounter Oberst Richard Pettauer Rastplatz, a lovely picnic site to unwind before making your way back. Information points are also available along the trail to provide insights into the area's history and natural features.
