This extremely difficult 14.764-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Seekopf. The trail starts at Schönangeralm where you can find parking and a restaurant to fuel up before beginning your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across two water sources at around 4.38 and 5.51 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
Around the midway point of the hike, you'll encounter Lämpersberg, a peak located 5.88 kilometers from the start, although not directly on the trail. Continuing on, you'll reach Seekopf, a peak that is directly on the trail at 7.04 kilometers from the start. You'll also pass by the peak Kleiner Beil at 6.55 kilometers from the start.
Along the way, at about 5.49 kilometers from the start, there is a spring with drinking water available, perfect for a quick refreshing stop. Additionally, there are information points and a wayside cross to explore at 5.88 kilometers from the start.
With an elevation gain of 1190 meters, make sure to come prepared for a challenging ascent.
