This challenging hiking route will take you on a 10.455-kilometer circular journey to the peak of Hahnkopf. The trail starts in a beautiful area with parking available at the beginning. As you begin your hike, you will come across a wayside cross about 1.3 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of historical significance to your journey.

As you continue onwards, at around 1.87 kilometers from the start, you'll find a bench where you can take a short break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further along the trail, at 5.17 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point and another bench, providing both information and a resting spot.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Hahnkopf at 5.17 kilometers from the start, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views. On the way back, you will find two fountains at around 0.25 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottles. Additionally, there is a drinking water point approximately 0.77 kilometers from the start to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the hike.

With an elevation gain of 802 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers.
