This hiking route to Jezerska Kočna is located in a beautiful alpine area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 9.859 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1556 meters, making it extremely difficult.
Starting from the trailhead, hikers will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across the Češka koča na Spodnjih Ravneh, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. This hut is located approximately 2.15 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Further along the route, at around 4.93 kilometers from the start, you will reach Jezerska Kočna, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to stop and take in the scenery before heading back.
Other points of interest along the trail include a wayside shrine named Marija Snežna, Sv. Andrej in Sv. Ožbolt, and a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottle midway through the hike. There are also information points scattered along the trail providing insights into the natural and historic significance of the area.
