This challenging circular hiking route on the (Ancienne route de Dortan) offers a total distance of 7.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 248 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 21 minutes to complete. The trail starts at (Ancienne route de Dortan) where you can find parking facilities with no fees.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by several points of interest. About 3.5 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a beautiful water feature, Bief de Valey, located just 28 meters away from the trail. Further along the path, at around 3.6 kilometers, another water point can be seen at a distance of 8.5 meters from the trail. At the 3.7-kilometer mark, you will encounter Bief de Valey once again, this time just 4.8 meters from the path. Additionally, there is a wilderness hut, Chalet (refuge) ONF, situated 196 meters away from the trail at the same distance point.
Along the way, you will also spot Ruines de la scierie, a historic ruins site located 167 meters from the trail. Information points can be found at various locations with La Courrerie situated 38 meters from the trail at 3.5 kilometers, and another information spot at 8 meters away from the path at 3.5 kilometers.
