This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through a challenging 13.582-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 1008 meters, starting at Refugi de Cortals de l'Ingla. The trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by the Coll de Vimboca, a picturesque saddle located 4.56 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Salt del Bastareny waterfall at a distance of 0.02 kilometers from the trail. This serene waterfall provides a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.
As you continue your journey, you will come across the Cova de Vimboca cave entrance, located 2.83 kilometers from the start. This natural wonder offers a unique opportunity to explore a cave system and admire its geological formations.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Pendís peak, located 4.36 kilometers from the start. The summit provides panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a rewarding destination for hikers.
Before heading back, make sure to visit the la Dou del Bastareny spring, located right at the trailhead. This refreshing spring offers a chance to refill your water bottles and cool off before completing the hike.
