Hiking : Ostrý vrch

This challenging hiking route will take you to Ostrý vrch, starting from Turzovské jazero. The total distance of the route is 9.646 kilometers with an elevation gain of 580 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes to complete.

Starting at Turzovské jazero, you will pass by some interesting points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Kúpeľný dom Pionier and Turzov, which provide some historical background to the area. As you continue, you will reach Tatarkov kríž and Leopolda, where you can learn more about the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter Esíčko and Štefánia, offering some informative points about the journey. Further along, you will pass by Tatarkov kríž once again, giving you a different perspective as you make your way towards Ostrý vrch.

Towards the end of the route, you will find Ostrý vrch, a peak with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. As this is an out-and-back trail, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point at Turzovské jazero.
