This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the stunning Prealpes de Haute-Provence region, specifically to Le Tourtoureau. The trail spans a distance of 17.604 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 1013 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.
At the beginning of your hike, you will find parking facilities conveniently located at the trailhead. Be sure to check the forecast before embarking on this journey and bring an ample water supply as this trail is quite demanding.
As you make your way along the route, you will encounter several points of interest. Approximately 6.15 kilometers from the start, you will find the Refuge du Seignas, a non-guarded shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Continuing on, at around 8.8 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the peak known as Le Tourtoureau.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by Col de Clapouse, a picturesque saddle point located approximately 6.77 kilometers from the start.
