Hiking : Malga Stablei

This extremely difficult 12.368-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to Malga Stablei, offering stunning views along the way.

Starting off at the parking area near the trail, you can top up your water supplies from a drinking water point around 0.54 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your ascent, you'll pass by another drinking water point at about halfway through the hike.

Around the 5.94-kilometer mark, you'll encounter a natural water source located a short distance from the trail. Further ahead, at 6.18 kilometers, there is another water spot conveniently placed right along the trail.

As you reach the latter part of the hike, you'll come across a memorial dedicated to Tomaso Lorenzi Anzol on June 23, 1962, and another memorial for Nicolò Collini. These are situated at 4.74 and 4.19 kilometers from the start, respectively.

Before you head back, make sure to stop by the Bar Posta at the end of the trail for some refreshments. Additionally, there are shelter facilities available at Spiazzo - Municipio and Spiazzo - Rendena around the endpoint for some rest and relaxation.

With 1438.0 meters of elevation gain, this challenging hike will take around 6 hours and 27 minutes to complete. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. Enjoy your hike to Malga Stablei!
