This out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 29.9 kilometers with a challenging elevation gain of 1604 meters. As you start your hike, you will come across the Schronisko PTTK na Hali Ornak alpine hut, where you can take a short break only 0.01 kilometers from the trail's beginning. This will be a good opportunity to refuel and rest before continuing on your adventure.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Nižné Tomanovské pleso water feature and the Tomanovské sedlo / Tomanowa Przełęcz saddle, located 3.89 kilometers from the start. As you trek further, you will reach the Rázcestie pod Tomanovou information point and the Hlina peak at approximately 7.45 and 13.94 kilometers from the start, respectively. These spots will provide you with valuable information about the region and panoramic views that are worth the effort.
