This hiking route takes you through the stunning scenery of Gładka Kotelnica / Hladká Kotolnica. The trail spans a distance of 15.5 kilometers with a challenging elevation gain of 1043 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Schronisko PTTK Morskie Oko alpine hut, a historic accommodation spot located 1.73 kilometers from the start. This is a great place to rest and refuel before continuing on your adventure. Along the trail, you will also encounter Stare Schronisko PTTK Morskie Oko, another alpine hut with a rich history, situated 1.72 kilometers from the starting point.

As you make your way through the route, be sure to visit the Małe Morskie Oko water feature at 1.43 kilometers from the start, and the Małe Żabie Oko at 1.37 kilometers away. These beautiful natural spots offer a refreshing break during your hike.

Midway through the trail, you will reach the peak of Hrubý štít / Szpiglasowy Wierch and the water sources of Niżni Staw Staszica, and Wyżni Staw Staszica at 4.5 kilometers and 4.4 kilometers from the start respectively. These locations offer breathtaking views and photo opportunities.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach Gładka Kotelnica / Hladká Kotolnica, a peak that provides a rewarding panoramic view of the surrounding area. After taking in the sights, you can retrace your steps back to the starting point.

Due to the length and difficulty of the hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Additionally, check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
